Summary

Alamaba soul outfit St. Paul & The Broken Bones will perform an intimate show at Thalia Hall in November as a benefit for the Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry.

What We Say

Alabama soul meets the Windy City this November when St. Paul and The Broken Bones comes to town for an unforgettable two-night concert experience.  The Alabama soul-rock group will perform November 17th at Thalia Hall in Chicago.  100% of the night’s proceeds will directly benefit the nearly 50,000 individuals served each year at Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry.   St. Paul and The Broken Bones’ first album, Half the City, featured powerful songs like “Call Me” and “Broken Bones and Pocket Change.”  Their distinctive sound and soulful grit struck a deep chord across the nation, grabbing the attention of media sources like Rolling Stone, Southern Living, and NPR where they performed on “Tiny Desk Concert.” Since the success of their first album, St. Paul and The Broken Bones has toured throughout the United States and Europe, performed at major music festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza, and opened for legends like The Rolling Stones. Their second album, Sea of Noise, released in 2016, further distinguished their unique sound. Sea of Noise touches upon themes of redemption, salvation, and hope amidst a world of noise.  It is a socially relevant, thought-provoking album that combines soul, funk, rock, and old school R&B.    Special thanks to WXRT, The Moller Family Foundation, and Bill and Emily Reedy for bringing this incredible Southern talent to the Windy City to help feed our hungry neighbors.   Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry provides hunger relief programs and services to residents of 13 zip codes, including the West Side of Chicago and many of its surrounding suburbs. Last year we distributed over 1 MILLION pounds of food!  For more information about the show and Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry go to http://www.oprffoodpantry.org/or find the Pantry on social media: https://www.facebook.com/feedhungryfamilies/ and https://twitter.com/OPRFFoodPantry. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 28th.  Past concerts have sold out very quickly—so don’t miss your chance to see St. Paul and The Broken Bones live in Chicago.
