Chicago Furthur Shows: Eye Candy

Had enough candy for Halloween?  There is more coming to Chicago as Furthur rolls to the UIC Pavillion this weekend with a new backdrop that should provide an extra helping of eye candy for concert goers.

The band announced today that they will be bringing along a huge new tie dyed tapestry for this November tour created by Courtenay Pollack, a tie-dye artiste who has been designing stage accouterments for The Grateful Dead since the seventies.

Entitled "Eyes Of The World", and made up of 15 9x9 panels, the artist explains...

The 7 Mandalas dedicated to 7 well loved and missed Souls – Jerry, Pig Pen, Keith, Brent, Vince,  from the band, and 2 wonderful  GD supporters we all miss~ Bill Graham and  Ken Kesey

Yet another reason to look forward to the shows this weekend.
