When Alabama Shakes last touched down in Chicago as a part of their Sound & Color tour, it was at the respectable Chicago Theatre, a location known to host both erudite fare and all-out barn-burners.
This time through, they split the difference -- with one show at the tony Civic Opera house and one at the legendary Aragon Ballroom (Brawlroom?).
Wyatt was on hand at the Aragon on July 20 to capture of few shots as well as a four song video playlist that demonstrates what happens when this soul-drenched, Southern rockers, led by the magnetic and commanding Brittany Howard, find a room that can match their attitude.
