On one hand, Gov't Mule's set on Saturday night at The Riviera was a showcase of tunes from their latest LP Revolution Come... Revolution Go. On the other, Warren was clearing making a statement on his days with The Allman Brothers Band, giving over the bulk of the second set to a trio of ABB classics -- very much welcome after a tough 2017 in Peach-land.
Luckily, we've got a handful of videos from our pal Wyatt (zepcowboy) that allows us to recapture the action.
Here's "Beautifully Broken" from the first set.
While the Allmans were the spotlight act, Al Green gets a nod, too, as his "I'm A Ram" led into "Unblow Your Horn" (which features an amazing trombone jam) to close the set.
ABB-action is set two with "Dreams". "Come and Go Blues" and "Kind of Bird" were also played.
And more classics in the encore. "Little Martha" was teased during "Traveling Tune" which yielded to "Mountain Jam".
