Here's the first of what I'm sure will be many Prince tributes to take place in Chicago this spring and summer -- and it has a bit of a jamband flair, too.
Supernatural Beings -- featuring Marcus Rezak (guitar; Digital Tap Machine), Todd Stoops (keys; RAQ), Mike Greenfield (drums; Lotus, Electron), and Clay Parnell (bass; Particle, Brothers Past) -- will perform the music of Prince, plus Michael Jackson and James Brown at Emporium Arcade Bar in Wicker Park on Thursday, April 28. The band will be rounded out by Emily Nichols, Marty Giercyk and Christian Rogala.
