Wilco recently performed on The Tonight Show, playing “Cars Can’t Escape” and “A Magazine Called Sunset” in promotion of their upcoming b-sides and rarities compilation Alpha Mike Foxtrot. Of particular note is an acoustic performance of “I’m The Man Who Loves You,” played casually from a crowded backstage room and released as a web exclusive.
This is no "unplugged" version of the song's typical arrangement -- it is seriously acoustic, featuring banjo, dobro and outstanding brush technique on the drum. Check it out here:
