Beatles, Ramones Films To Screen At City Winery

City Winery will show two music documentaries in the coming weeks, Beatles documentary Good Ol’ Freda and End Of The Century: The Story

The movies will be projected onto dual 90-inch screens in the performance area, utilizing the winery’s sound system and seating, with food service and themed drink specials available.

End Of The Century: The Story Of The Ramones combines archival footage with new interviews to tell the classic punk band’s story. Known for their precarious and eccentric personalities and relationships, the film follows the band’s rise to fame, tumultuous carrer and their impact and influence on the music scene. End Of The Century will show on Wednesday, September 24.

Good Ol’ Freda focuses on the Beatles’ secretary and friend Freda Kelly. Freda worked as the band’s secretary since their formation, supporting the group throughout their ten-year existence. Known for her dedication and loyalty, Freda was an essential player in The Beatles’ popularity, witnessing the best and worst of its members’ careers. The movie relays her stories and memories, offering a personal glimpse into the lives of the Beatles in their prime. Good Ol’ Freda will show on Wednesday, October 1.
