Bob Dylan decamped for three shows in Chicago just as things are exploding in his corner of the universe.

• The Bootleg Series Volume 11, a six CD complete recording of all the music made with The Band during the historic sixties sessions.  Here's a track-by-track breakdown
• A Bob Dylan Bootleg Series iOS app is now available
• Lost On The River: The New Basement Tapes, just saw its official release.  The album, a collaboration between Elvis Costello, Rhiannon Giddens (Carolina Chocolate Drops), Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes), Jim James (My Morning Jacket) and Marcus Mumford (Mumford & Sons), and helmed by super-producer T Bone Burnett, features songs crafted from Dylan's hand-written lyrics during the Basement Tapes Era
• Rolling Stone is reporting an another super group that almost was.  Dylan approached Glyn Johns with the idea of making an album with both the Beatles and the Stones

"Keith and George thought it was fantastic.  But they would since they were both huge Dylan fans. Ringo, Charlie and Bill were amicable to the idea as long as everyone else was interested. John didn't say a flat no, but he wasn't that interested. Paul and Mick both said absolutely not."- Glyn Johns

So with so much chatter, how are the shows in Chicago shaping up?  Here's one review from Tribune crit Greg Kot.  Below find the setlists as they become available and a video (okay, really this is just about the audio) of the always enthralling "Tangled Up In Blue".  A bit disappointing that the Bard doesn't switch it up at all between night one and night two.  Stayed tuned for what's on tap for Monday.  Update: Exact same setlist three nights in a row.  Ugh.
