Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Plan Multi-Venue Festival Lineup For 2013

Each year brings a little something different for the Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival.  From big shows and headliners to outrageous special guests to diverse lineups and even a three night String Cheese run; the fest has followed its own muse to bring best and brightest to Chicago.  In 2014 the fest takes a more "South By Southwest" feel with two weeks of club shows exploring what the organizers do best:  traditonal bluegrass, blues and the open spaces that these two traditional forms have leant to modern music.

City Winery and Concord Music Hall will serve as the primary venues, while Tonic Room and Evanston's SPACE will also see some action.  Barn favorites David Grisman (who will perform with his JazzFolk Trio), The Autumn Defense (feat. John Stirratt & Pat Sanson of Wilco), Greensky Bluegrass, Donna The Buffalo, Great Divide and American Babies will all be featured in key slots.
