UPDATE (4/26): A word from the band about why this has not been highly publicized. Keep it civil tonight, you guys.
An error in the ticketing system inadvertently released more tickets than the total Park West capacity (approximately 150). It is unfortunate but it is what it is and we are going to do our best to make things run smoothly regardless.

It's not being promoted by Umphrey's McGee, but certain message board sleuths have uncovered a "secret show" to be held on Thursday night at the Park West. Rumor has it, former Umphrey's collaborator and Chicago blues legend Buddy Guy will also appear.
All the pieces seem to fit. Umphrey's, of course, will be at the Park West on Friday for the third annual installment of the their signature UMBowl event.
The event was listed on eventbrite (it has since been taken down) as recently as Saturday, where visitors where offered an opportunity to snag and print free tickets, promising a 90 minutes set starting at 9 p.m, giving members of UM who are committed to participate in the Full Court Press 2 show at The Abbey plenty of time to make the trip across town. The event doubles as a canned good drive to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository

Need a ticket? I can't help you, but if you follow the first link in this post, there might be an opportunity for Chicagoans to grab one tonight. Good luck!
