I can feel it in my bones, The Marcus King Band will be huge. Not even old enough to legally buy a beer, King has assembled a powerhouse band and will release a self titled LP in October. He's in line with the right folks, playing the right gigs and making music fusing blues, soul and psychedelic rock that also has a mass appeal.
This new video, featuring Warren Haynes, does nothing to discourage these thoughts. King's down-to-earth personality and total immersion in the music come through in just under five minutes.
By next summer, when he's blowing up, you'll be able to say you knew him when.
