Nickson's in La Grange is a place for some truly legit food. If you haven't experienced the Elk Burger, you are missing out on one of the most uniquely delicious burgers in Chicagoland.
But this week, brothers and co-founders Nick and Rich Baca will be adding a New England flair to the menu as they celebrate their first annual Lobster Fest. Featuring lobster themed food and drink specials, it runs from July 6th through 9th. Check out their site for more details.
But we're no foodie blog... what about the music? Well, as an added draw, a special three piece acoustic version of Barn favorites Mr. Blotto is scheduled to kick off the festivities tonight. Music starts at 8.
Sunday, a band called Deuce will be entertaining. Full disclosure... I've never heard or seen this band before, but their online profile lists influences like Tower of Power, P-Funk, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Grateful Dead and Phish. At the very least, we know the members have good taste!
Come find out why Nickson's is one of The Barn's favorite restaurants in La Grange and yet another reason for us to be proud of our hometown.
