The Who’s guitarist and Pearl Jam frontman will be joined by “Simon Townshend and Friends,” which includes the bassist, drummer and guitarist of The Who's most recent lineup, as well as keyboardists.
Tickets to the performance vary widely in price, ranging from $1,000 to $100, with multiple tiers between, and go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 21.
Money raised from the show will be used to support programs for teenagers and young adults with cancer at the University of Chicago Medicine and other local charities, a cause that Pete Townshend regularly supports.
