We've been doing some "housecleaning" this week, getting up some long-simmering contributions.
I guess its appropriate that we had just celebrated Bob Marley's birthday as well, since we've got a bunch of great shots from Nunu's visit out west, where he as able to capture the Exodus 40 Live Concert, a celebration of Marley's landmark album from the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles on November 1st, 2017.
The stage was a revolving door all night long, with Bob's sons Ziggy and Stephen playing host.
Throughout the night, they were joined by Gary Clark Jr., Jim James, Citizen Cope, Aloe Blacc, Don Was, Cyrill Neville, Terrence Higgins and Tom Morello, who had a little message on the back of his guitar.
All told, the messages in the original album were on display as classic after class was trotted out.
During a time when the city of LA was wrapped up in World Series fever, it was yet another thing for Angelenos to rally around. The proof is in the images.
