It may seem unlikely, but Westmont, Illinois was the Blues Capital of the World for four hours on Sunday afternoon.
Taste of Westmont honored former resident Muddy Waters in their yearly tribute with a collection of some of Chicago’s finest Blues artists -- including performances by members of his former band as well as his youngest song Joseph Morganfield.
Taste officials deserve high praise for, not only the great talent they put on stage, but also for moving them on and off the stage seamlessly so there was no break in the awesome music.
It was a beautiful day for the Blues!
