Sure there are a lot of funk bands out there? But there's probably only one that bill themselves as "the world's premier undead funk ambassadors".

Here Comes The Mummies brought their mummified funk to a fairly packed House Of Blues on Saturday night.

The super talented Tara Gracer was on hand with her camera and was kind enough to share some of her best shots with Tomorrow's Verse.

While the Mummies hail from Egypt, a bit closer to home is The North 41, who call Chicago home, and who have worked hard to bring their pop-drenched neo-soul to local audiences over the last few years

The crowd was out in force for the hometown openers as well -- their hard work appears to be paying off.
