I finally got out to see this band on the third night of their Chicago run and ooo boy do I have a lot of thoughts. I will be getting them down in the next few days so stay tuned.
I ran into Jeff Frank prior to the show, who completed his trifecta of capturing the entire run. He went the “human mic stand” route over the three nights, clipping a pair of Church Audio microphones to a baseball hat. The results are pretty damn good.
