Bruce and the E-Street band managed to squeeze an arena-sized visit to Chicago inside a few massive stadium-sized appearances in his home state of New Jersey.
No matter the size, he managed to pull off a show featuring the standard fireworks and a handful of special treats. From the string ensemble assisted "Jack Of All Trades" to the house-lights-on, leave-it-all-on-the-stage "Born To Run" (videos of both below), Springsteen alternated between contemplative and balls-out.
No longer featuring complete performances of The River, this tour still features a heavy does of tunes from the album. The Chicago show featured 9 in total. Pretty sure nobody was complaining.
