Wicker Park Fest organizers have announced the headliners for the 2016 summer street festival taking place July 23 and 24. This year's headliners will be The Mountain Goats, Com Truise and Antibalas on Saturday and Rocket From The Crypt, Ought and Alvvays on Sunday.
With three stages set up along Damen Ave and a lineup promising non-stop music throughout the weekend, the festival offers a variety of quality acts outside of the headliners.
Amongst the smaller acts recommended by Tomorrow's Verse are local favorites Troubled Hubble, psychedlic mainstay The Night Beats, and indie-psych group Quilt.
The festival also includes a children's area, arts section, and booths from local botiques and restaurants. The suggested donation is for entry is $10.
