Summary

As it has since 2009, Rock 4 Autism continues its outreach and advocacy, connecting concerned parents and eductators with fans of rock and roll. (And yes, these are often one in the same).

Once again, Chicago-area jam stalwarts Mr. Blotto (joined by Dave "B3" Allen on the organ) will headline the daytime affair at Wire in Berwyn, with supporting sets from an extended family of musicians who care deeply about this cause.

A $25 donation will get you entry to this event, but R4A offers all sorts of merchandise and other ways to contribute.  So whether by joining the celebration on Sunday, donating or simply continuing to advocate for for families with children with an autism spectrum disorder -- the passionate planners of this event and those who they help -- encourage your support.

Music is only part of the plan with silent auction, kids activities and more rounding out the complete lineup.

Jay Vonn 12 - 12:40
Smokey & Friends 1 - 2
Johnny V & The Killer Bzzz 2:20 - 3:20
Bill Grady  3:30 - 3:55
Mr. Blotto w/ Dave "B3" Allen 4-6

Stephan Cook  is the artist at large.

What They Say

WHY WE DO THIS

“As a parent of a young adult with autism I question what will happen to my son when I am not here”?

Now more than ever there is a need for private funding for our children and adults with autism. We have witnessed a cut in funding for individuals on the spectrum. Parents are struggling financially, they will not be able to pay for private services to get the support and care needed. Individuals with autism will continue to fall through the cracks if we don't help.

The Rock4Autism collaborates with artists, musicians, non-profit organizations, public and non-public schools to build a sustainable future for individuals with autism. Collectively we support, we advocate and build a new tomorrow!

What We Say

We encourage you to support this incredible cause -- in person or otherwise.
