We'll have much more to come from this show and tonight's gig, but first a quick recap.
While Thursday's show featured an opening act, Friday brought two full sets of TTB spanning nearly three hours.
And just because NMAS weren't on the bill, that didn't keep Luther Dickinson from joining the crew for a pair of Derek & The Dominoes tunes ("Key To The HIghway", "Anyday"). They paired with a third Clapton related tune (Blind Faith's "Had To Cry Today") to complete the trifecta.
After hitting Let Me Get by songs hard in last year's Chicago Theatre run, this show featured only "Anyhow", representing a shift towards a more catalog based band in 2017, although a new record is supposedly on the horizon.
