Who: The Arcade Fire
What: Pro-shot video of their full Lollapalooza headlining set, which closed out the 2017 festival.
You Need To Know: With the recently released and much anticipated Everything Now meeting a very mixed reception due to its simplicity, disco stylings and sarcastic tones, the band had much to prove when hitting a stage the size of Lollapalooza’s. Fortunately, the band used their full discography to weave the new songs seamlessly throughout the set, which never let the energy fade as it worked its way to an epic encore of “Wake Up” and John Lennon’s “Mind Games,” the latter interpolating Radiohead and David Bowie songs as well. It’s a fantastic show, and worth every minute of your time.
