Logan Square Arts Festival, set for June 23-25, has announced its headliners.
The festival, which will include an expanded second stage, will feature METZ, Strand Of Oaks, Sad13 and Circuit Des Yeux.
Headliners To Watch
Canadian noise-rock trio METZ is known for their bombastic, high-energy live shows. Blending punk, garage and distorted noise, the loud show will be a sight to see at the outdoor stage.
Strand Of Oaks is the rock project of Philadelphia songwriter Timothy Showalter. Combining a guitar-forward, classic rock sensibility with a knack for emotional and infectious songwriting, Strand Of Oaks is known for their quality live shows, and has developed a massive following from indie, alternative, jam-band and general rock ‘n roll fans.
Sad13 is the solo project of Sadie Dupuis, known primarily as the lead singer for Speedy Ortiz. Her solo work is less intense than that of her solo band, focusing on melodic indie-pop built on dense layers of instrumentation beneath.
Circuit Des Yeaux is the experimental electronic project of Chicago songwriter Jackie Lynn. Her atmospheric, dark compositions use noise strategically, using vast instrumentation while building constantly around her dramatic vocals.
