AliveOne celebrates 20 years of serving thirsty Chicago fans. They've been about the music from day one, and have had a great tradition of hosting live shows and related events since the beginning. The "all live jukebox" has always been a staple.
To mark the occasion, they are throwing a private party on Saturday, November 5th, and tickets can only be acquired through promotional means.
The draw? A performance by Good Enough -- that's Brendan, Jake, Joel and Ryan from Umphrey's McGee (get it?). They've started giving away four tickets each Thursday night during the weekly residence of Low Spark (totally worthwhile), who will also perform at the party. There are three more chances to win.
But what if you can't make it? Today, they announced via facebook that additional winners will be chosen randomly for those willing to join them on the social network. Check it out for more details -- winner will be chose on October 31st.
Former Thursday night residents, The Heard, will also perform for FREE, the night prior (Friday, Nov 4th). Their two sets will feature a first set with funk covers and a second full of originals.
