It always takes something a little extra special to feature media of an event that didn't take place in Chicago. How's this? When one of our favorite Midwest bands made it out to Portlandia, archivist Mark Burgin recorded the entire show with multiple high quality cameras and edited the footage to create what has to be one of the greatest fan made videos of all time
Without an official GSBG video release, I think this one remains the de facto front runner as a video document of the experience. The show features lovely jams on Greensky staples like "Don't Lie" and "All Four", plus an intense workout of Bruce Hornsby's "King Of The Hill". Ryan Mountbleau and members of his band joins for the encore.
Put this one on the big screen and crank it through a nice stereo. Just like being there.
