Chicago Bluegrass & Blues 2015 In Review

With the closing notes of their set at the sold out House Of Blues, Greensky Bluegrass put an exclamation point on another edition of Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival.

Starting way back in January, the series of shows  under the CBB banner spanned some of our favorite city venues and showcased local and national acts alike.

We were able to cover 8 of the gigs. Here are reviews from each:

We regret missing others...so many shows it's even tough for our team to catch em all!  Lucero, Head For The Hills, Leo Kottke and Cornmeal were also a part of this series that we couldn't get to.

The good news?  One of the shows we missed, New Orleans Suspects at SPACE, was captured by videographer dreadnickmon. Check out nearly the entire show, including a NOLA'd up version of "Tangled Up In Blue" in the playlist below.
