Go see Yarn. I'm not kidding. If there's one band that readers of this site NEED to check out, it's Yarn.
They bring a bunch of everything we love to the table. Some acoustic (including standup bass, mandolin). Some electric. A bit of plucky bluegrass, ballsy rock and, yes, jamming. But what's truly remarkable is their sense of song craft (Blake Christiana commits to writing and releasing a song per day during his most prolific periods) and a tangible connection to American music traditions that have came before them (Springsteen, Petty, Neil, Lou Reed… Guns N Roses). Hell, they've even played entire sets of Dead covers. Yes, we love these guys.
Plus, they hit the road and make it happen like a real band a lot.. And they'll be headed to Chicago soon.
We're so confident that you'll enjoy these guys, we're going to give away a bunch of tickets for their show on December 18th at the City Winery. How many? That all depends on how many people enter… but let's just say we really want you to go.
We'll make entering nice and easy and, as usual, you can increase your odds by taking this thing social. Just let us know you want to experience Yarn any way you see fit: in the comments below, drop us an email at info@tomorrowsverse.com, tag us on social media. Like this page (and The Barn's Page) and you'll receive an extra entry.
Watch our Facebook and Twitter feeds for more chances to put your name in the hat. Winner's will be notified 24 hours before showtime.
