We were happy to give away dozens of tickets for a bunch of shows during the Halloween Weekend in Chicago. While tons of great music was consumed, like an overflowing bag of trick-or-treat candy, the good times linger into the following week, too.
So if you are still nursing a Halloween Hangover, there's nothing like a bit of the hair of the dog that bit ya. By that I mean music, of course. What the heck... let's give away a few more tickets to this weeks shows, too.
Here's what we have to give away this week -- roughly equated to the one America's favorite Halloween treats. Send us an email to info @ tomorrowsverse.com with the subject line "Halloween Hangover" with the show(s) you'd like to see, and we'll pick some winners for a pair of tickets to these gigs.
11/6 Euforquestra @ Beat Kitchen
Taste the rainbow with the exotic world sounds of Euforquestra. For a few more colors, check out the support from Minnesota's John Wayne & The Pain and Thinner Teed.
11/6 Booker T @ City Winery
Makes mouths happy.... And ears. Watch the soul legend Booker T. Jones twist up smooth organ lines in one of the city's most posh venues.
11/7 Fareed Haque @ Tonic Room
One bite of a York Peppermint Patty and you'll be taken far away. Just like one incredible lick from Fareed's guitar. Consider The Source and Amrita also on the bill.
11/7 Terrapin Flyer / Rumpke Mountain Boys @ Abbey Pub
Two great tastes that go great together. JGB's Dave Hebert gigs with Chicago's own Terrapin Flyer on some Dead jams. And it's trashgrass from the Rumpke Mountain Boys to round out the night. Your chocolate is in my peanut butter indeed.
11/8 Marco Benevento @ Martyrs
Hey, it's the number one candy in America and this is the number one show on our list. The incredible Marco Benevento (who we spoke with at length about his outstanding new album) holds court at the venerable North Side Venue. Satisfied?
