Spend A Night In Chicago With Umphrey's McGee (Without Umphrey's McGee) - 12/8/12

In 2011, Umphrey's McGee New Year's Eve experience was snatched away from Chicago, but the band played a pair of holiday shows at the Aragon Ballroom on Thanksgiving weekend.  This year's Labor Day gig at the Congress will serve as the final time hometown fans get chance to catch the band in 2012.

But... Chicagoans can still get a chance to spend a whole night with Umphrey's -- just without Umphrey's.

On Saturday, December 8th, Jake Cinninger and Brendan Bayliss will continue their holiday tradition by performing at Park West for the 10th Annual Acoustic Holiday Show, an all ages affair which starts at 7:30 p.m..  After midnight, and just a few miles away, Kris Myers, Joel Cummins and the Digital Tape Machine crew will perform at the Bottom Lounge in a show on a bill with Dexterous Roy and Cosby Sweater.

This is just a week before Umphrey's and DTM head down to Mexico for the annual Mayan Holidaze Festival.  From there, they will be on to Atlanta to ring in the 2013.
