Blue Ox Music Festival Announces 2017 Lineup

Now in its third incarnation, it appears the organizer's of Blue Ox have hit on some special when curating their forward-looking, bluegrass leaning lineup.

Perhaps its the artist curation -- MInnesota's Pert Near Sandstone, plays a role and has two festival slots, but the lineup is a music lover's dream.

Punch Brothers, Greensky Bluegrass and Drive-By Truckers belong at the top of any bluegrass and Americana fans list.  Package that with festival legend Sam Bush, jammers Railroad Earth, and the rising Infamous Stringdusters you've got a heck of a top line rounded out nicely with local and regional acts up and down the card.

Taking place in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, June 8-10, the lineup isn't the only thing fresh this year.

“We are excited for year three of the Blue Ox Music Festival,” offers Jim Bischel, who runs the festival. “Between the lineup, improvements and additions to our festival venue, and the incredible fans we have, it is going to be a fantastic year. We can’t wait until June!”
