Jeff Tweedy To Release Solo Acoustic Album, Together At Last

If you know his sense of humor, of course a completely solo album from Wilco frontman and primary songwriter Jeff Tweedy would be called Together At Last.

And that bit of unabashed charm may end up being one of the least charming things about this forthcoming set.

The release will feature 11 songs "from the Wilco catalog and beyond, laid bare for your listening pleasure."

Newly recorded tracks include “Via Chicago,” “I Am Trying To Break your Heart,”, "Hummingbird", “In A Future Age” and “I’m Always In Love.” Non-Wilco tracks include “Lost Love” (Golden Smog) and the Loose Fur's “Laminated Cat", a staple of his solo sets.

Check out "Laminated Cat":

The set will be released on June 23rd (the same day Wilco kicks off their Solid Sound Festival) and can be pre-ordered (with a download of "Laminated Cat" now on 180g black vinyl, CD and limited edition vinyl boxset, including an exclusive clear LP pressing and 16x16 puzzle.
