Some Mini Sets From The Jazz Underground

This installment of Notes From The Jazz Underground features the playlist based on the November 8th show.

Paul divided this show up into mini sets, each with their own theme.  Dive in to this playlist to explore modern jazz themes, guitar themes, an Ellington theme, a solo bass theme, and an electro theme, amongst others.  It's a pretty diverse lineup, from a saxophone & bass taking on the classic "Instanbul Not Constantinople" (made famous by They Might Be Giants) to local prog metal guys Pelican (I just bought one a Three Floyds Beer inspired by them!).

Notes From The Jazz Underground runs Friday nights on WDCB 90.9 FM.
