On TV | Beck and Preservation Hall Jazz Band Collaborate At Red Rocks

On TV features a quick recap of some of the music we're playing at Tomorrow's Verse headquarters.

Who: Beck with Preservation Hall Jazz Band

What: Beck just wrapped up a two-night run at Red Rocks with openers Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and the artists collaborated for lengthy encores.

You Need To Know: New Orleans jazz staples Preservation Hall Jazz Band are known for the practically constant collaborations, and Beck’s music is a perfect fit for their fun, party-ready sound. Beck’s encore consisted of Sexx Laws and One Foot In The Grave > Happy Birthday > Where It’s At (Reprise) to close the show, the latter incorporating Gary Numan, Phil Collins and other 80s references, along with a jammed out “Happy Birthday” to Preservation Hall’s saxophonist 85-year-old Charlie Gabriel.

Sexx Laws:

"One Foot In The Grave > Happy Birthday > Where It's At"
