Hinterland Music Festival – August 3-4, 2018
Headliners To Watch
Sturgill Simpson – The man has been burning up headlines as much with his music as his meta-commentary on the scene. Great tunes and truly an "important" artist in his own right.
Band Of Horses – Last seen in these parts at the Aragon Ballroom, they have a sound that yearns for the wide-open space of an outdoor festival.
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats – Based on reaction around Chicago, these guys would be enough to pack any venue around here. Their neo-soul should fit right at home in the Americana-rich environment of the Hinterlands.
Margo Price – Has written some of the truly catchiest tunes of the last few years. In many ways a female complement to Sturgill, expect to see her surge to headliner status before too long.
Anderson East – Check out the tune "Girlfriend" on his latest release. Stone cold stunning track.
Tyler Childers – Breakthrough country artist. You heard it here first.
