Horns & Strings Highlight December Shows At Martyrs - Win Tickets to Rebirth or Cornmeal's Holiday Ramble

Glance across the calendar at Martyrs and you'll find a lineup that competes with the most eclectic festivals in terms of variety and virtuosity.  From full on brass band rowdiness to all-star super-pickers.  That's one of the reasons we love the place.

This month, it'll be a December to remember at the venerable North Side club.  On Saturday, December 14th New Orleans legends Rebirth Brass Band will play two shows, a 7pm and 10pm.  Wavy and Chris of Cornmeal will reprise last year's star-studded "Holiday Ramble" in the week between Christmas and New Years (December 27th).  Last year found a rotating crew of musicians joining the erstwhile Chatsworth and Dupree for a slew of covers and jams.  This year, we're expecting members of Barn favorites like Ragbirds, Old Shoe, Family Groove Company and Dog 1.
