[9/20 Update -- Three Purple Party Aftershows each night at House Of Blues] He's done residencies in New York, Los Angeles and London (playing as many as 21 shows in one location!) and now it's time to give Chicago some Purple Love -- the first time since 2004 (a show i had tickets for but then could not attend).
Prince will play United Center on Monday, September 24, Tuesday, September 25 and Wednesday, September 26, and judging by the consistency and branding of the marketing video below -- I think we can expect a slew of additional dates at the near west side arena. The stage set-up for past stops have been "in-the-round" offering everybody in the vast arena a decent view.
[9/20 Update] No more shows at the UC, but Prince has added after show jams each night at Chicago's House Of Blues.
The shows will also support Van Jones' Rebuild The Dream organization. They will be onsite providing opportunities to offer fans education about "rebuilding vibrant and sustainable communities."
Tickets for 25th and 26th are available via Live Nation as of 9/12. The 24th is sold out.

And here's the latest addition to his band -- a sexy and super talented drummer by the name of Hannah Ford. I expected nothing less from Prince.
