Ravinia announced its lineup for 2016 today. With events and concerts scheduled from June 2 through September 11, the festival will feature more than 100 performers.
Highlights include Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration featuring Warren Haynes, Buddy Guy with Jeff Beck, Chick Corea Trio, Steve Miller Band, Duran Duran, Hollywood Vampires (featuring Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry), Bonnie Raitt and Chris Cornell.

There's no doubt the Ravinia experience (BYOB, picnic) is pleasant and one-of-a-kind. But lawn ticket prices, considering the lack of a view of the performers, have certainly gotten to a new level ($38 for Garcia Tribute, $49 for Simon, Dylan). Bring your wallet if you're looking to get in the pavilion. Choose carefully!
