More clips have emerged from the much-anticipated Grateful Dead documentary Long Strange Trip.
The first, about a minute in length, features author Steve Silberman’s breakdown of the different types of Deadheads that would attend the band’s shows.
Silberman references fans’ choice of seating in front of Phil or Jerry, spinners, sober “Wharf Rats,” the deaf holding balloons, tapers and more in the clip, with video examples of each.
Next, Minnesota Senator and noted Deadhead Al Franken talks about the dark side of the Dead experience, which didn't quite jib with his "gentle" personality.
It’s an intriguing watch, and only makes us more excited to see the final product, which airs in select theaters on May 25, at Chicago’s Music Box Theatre on May 28, and on Amazon Prime on June 2.
Watch the clip below, as debuted by Consequence Of Sound, as well as Long Strange Trip’s official trailer.
